L’Occitane Debuts It’s First U.S. Flagship Store In The Heart Of New York City

Today, L’OCCITANE  launched its first-ever flagship store in the historic Flatiron District of New York City.

The Flatiron flagship, is designed to be a welcoming, relaxing oasis in a 2,500 square foot space offering the spirit and traditions of classic French style of Provence.

Customers visiting the store can expect to see a beautifully designed, world-exclusive greenhouse within the boutique. The interior also features an oversized mural of L’OCCITANE’s iconic product labels, created by the founder, Olivier Baussan.

The new flagship is a true pampering experience, offering customers signature beauty rituals and details that will transport them to the south of France. For those customers who prefer a quick mini-facial, they can visit the skincare bar just outside the greenhouse, equipped with a sink and consultation area where the Skincare Expert can write a regimen prescription. Shoppers can also shop along vintage fragrance units, discovering the classic ingredients that inspire each fragrance.  To complete the full experience, customers can virtually transport visitors to Provence, with an on-site iPad photobooth, which enables customers to snap a photo in front of a green screen and select their setting in the south of France.
