Style Ed 101: Night Out On The Town

February 3, 2012

It’s the weekend and time to let loose – so why not dress to fit that mood?  Whether you’re hitting the night scene or going on a hot date – let your look sizzle.  There is no other way to look hot than by wearing intense colors and prints such as red and leopard. Looking for a little inspiration?  Check out the look that I created below and keep these simple tips in mind:

  • What’s the one main thing that you want to wear that matches your feisty, partying mood? Pick an item, work around that item and coordinate. Not matchy-matchy, but coordinate..there is a difference.

  • In this case the outfit has a warm tone base (the red pants) –  and with the leopard shoes as an accent, the notch of the look was turned up just a bit.

  • Having wardrobe basics, such as a white crew neck t-shirt (pictured below) is key because they can always fill in the blank when pulling an outfit together.

  • Blazers are always perfect interchangeable items that can be taken from night to-day. Although classic blazer silhouettes are a must have – consider purchasing one that has a modern cut for a chic updated look.  And when it comes to pairing the modern blazer with a pant that is “of the moment”
