When Lela Rose shared the source of inspiration for her Fall 2012 collection with Ted Gibson, right away he began thinking about architectural shapes that he could re-create with the models hair. He also wanted to go with a modified Gibson-girl inspired style, and opted to sweep the hair to one side.

Ted Gibson completed the entire look with Build It Blow Dry Spray, which adds a nice sheen minus the hard feeling of stiff dry hair.

The direction for the makeup was modern day, vintage appeal, with a glowing Porcelain doll face.  Here is the picture that inspired the look:

Tina Turnbow opted for a 30’s inspired make up look which featured soft-rounded eyebrows – which was how eyebrows were commonly shaped during that time. To incorporate the antique feeling of the picture, Turnbow, went with a smokey eye using Stila’s puppy eyeshadow, rusty pink cheeks for a natural healthy look and terra cotta lips.
