Ralph Lauren took on a modern twist of the idyllic yet bustling 1912 Edwardian country theme of Downton Abbey.

Make up by Tom Pechaux – To achieve a natural make up look defined as, “elegant subtely”, Pechaux:

  •  used light foundation
  • added light touches of mascara and eyeliner

Redken Creative Consultant Guido styled soft, feminine, simple and refined ponytails for the show.

“What I love about Ralph is not having to change too every season. When it works, it works. It’s reassuring in that way as a designer and as a brand – he has a very strong identity. He’s not about reinventing everything – the inspiration for the girl is ‘she is who she is’ and I think that’s very nice.” – Guido, Redken Creative Consultant

Redken Products:

  • thickening lotion 06 all-over body builder

Create the Look:

  • Apply thickening lotion 06 to damp hair for extra body.
  • Blow dry hair using a large round brush.
  • Put hair up in pincurls which will give a rich finish to the final look.
  • Release pincurls and apply All Soft Argan-6 oil for shine and to smooth any frizz.
  • Brush hair back lightly with fingers to create a perfect low ponytail, a very rich look, securing it with an elastic.
  • Take a small piece of hair and wrap around elastic to cover.
  • Finish with fashion work 12 hairspray to tame any flyaway’s.
