Iconic Style Pooh-Bahs: Transparent Style Of Elizabeth Taylor

March 30, 2012

Spring 2012 just ought to be coined as the season of ‘sheer madness’.  Chiffon has been spotted on the Spring 2012 runways on shirts, skirts and pants, and it’s ‘transparent’ that that the fabric that bares a hint of skin in a subtle way is becoming a favorite.  Thankfully the trend isn’t one that discriminate and happens to be flattering to a number of women’s shapes.

Chiffon lends sexiness to a look in an understated way.  The late style icon, Elizabeth Taylor looked amazing in a sheer chiffon blouse in the photograph below.  After all, her name should have simply been, ‘Glamour’.  I mean what better name could you think of to best describe a style icon whose passion for jewelry led to reportedly owning a collection of jewelry worth $150 million? Exactly. Glamour!
