The Most Stylish Spring 2013 Fashion Week Stops

September 11, 2012

The fashion show runway isn’t the only hot spot during fashion week for the Spring/Summer 2013 season. Venues throughout the week have doubled as stylish hubs where treats of all kinds were served up for fashionistas.

Walgreens Café: MADE To Eat

Yes, fashion folks really do snack – and to satisfy those cravings, Walgreens set up an “old-fashioned” newsstand that was stocked with all the goodies and necessities for the Made Fashion Week attendees.  In addition, Walgreens took over the cafes at Milk Studios, and  “Walgreens Café:  MADE to Eat” also provided backstage catering for all MADE Fashion Week shows and presentations with a selection of “Nice!™” and “Good & Delish™” fresh foods and snacks.

Birchbox Sample Stop

Beauty mavens were able to snatch up samples at the Birchbox Sample Stop.  Editors and influencers were invited to a site that was set-up like a ‘candy-shop’ where they could sweetin’ up their day with candy while also selecting from cosmetic samples that were available in huge candy tubes for them to curate their own Birchboxes.  Leading brands available for stylish beauties to fill up on included: Kiehl’s, Nexxus, Aveda, Jouer, Fresh, Shu Uemura, Fekkai and more!  At the sample stop, visitors were able to get touch ups for their nails and for their hair, while recharging their laptops and batteries.

Urban Decay and The Mudtruck – “Fuel Your Fashion Week: Part II”

For much-needed jolts, Urban Decay invited Fashion Week attendees to fuel up. The Mudtruck was parked outside Lincoln Center and MILK Studios to serve up “NAKED” inspired coffee drinks and long-lasting cosmetics to help keep fashionistas fueled from Alexander to Zac.

The Daily Style Sessions

Fashion Week’s favorite publication, The Daily Front Row, presented The Daily Style Sessions for loyal fashionistas for a few days during the week. The exclusive oasis took place right across the street from Lincoln Center, on the rooftop of The Empire Hotel.  The space was transformed into a luxurious retreat where guests were able to recharge physically, mentally and technologically.  At every turn, there were several brands ready to introduce their latest offerings such as: red-wine inspired cosmetics from Clos du Bois, bra fittings and recommendations from Chantelle lingerie, bangles from Alex and Ani, and this season’s must-have tights from Hanes Hosiery.  Guests were also given a chance to indulge in manicures provided by, Modelina’s Catwalk Concierge and massages from the Oasis Day Spa.
